Art Journey challenge #40

Wat vliegt de tijd. De challenge van Art Journey is al weer vier dagen oud. Louise koos het zeer toepasselijke thema kerst en/of winter. Het is de veertigste challenge, en daarom reden voor een extra grote prijs voor de winnaar! Kijk gauw op ons blog en doe mee om kans te maken op die prijs! Ben benieuwed naar je inzending.

Time flies. Art Journey's challenge is four days old already. Louise chose the apropriate theme for december: christmas and/or winter. Om de lezers en deelnemers aan de challenge te inspireren, maakte ik deze kaart:
To inspire the readers and participants to join the challenge, I made this card:

 Het meisje gestempeld met zwarte Versafine and ge-embossed, evenals de takken en de tekst:
 I stamped the girl with black Versafine and heat embossed the image. I did the same with the branches and the black text:

Het meisje even afgeplakt en de kaart gesponsd met Victorian Velvet distress inkt.  In die kleur ook door de template gesponsd, de achtergrond tekst gestempeld en de takjes tussen de zwarte nog eens gestempeld:
I masked the girl with a piece of paper and  sponged the card with Victorian Velvet distress ink. With the same colour I sponged through the template, stamped the background text and stamped the branches again between the black ones:

Met een radeerwieltje en zwarte pen nep-steekjes gemaakt. Gemat op donkerrood en op een witte kaart geplakt; klaar!
With a tracing wheel and a black pen I added a faux stitched border. I glued it onto a dark red mat and then on a white card: finished!
