Bottles and bister

Met de leuke nieuwe "Vintage bottles" van Art Journey maakte ik onderstaande kaarten, helemaal geïnspireerd door het nieuwe Art Specially magazine, dat pas uit is. Daarin veel voorbeelden met bister.

With the new Art Journy stamps "Vintage bottles" I made these cards. I was really inspired by the dutch magazine Art Specially, which was released recently. It contains lots of great examples with bistre.

Ik stempelde eerst de afbeeldingen met Stazon Teal Blue, strooide daarna bister, mistte met water en kleurde daarna de (droge!) afbeeldingen met distress inkt Peacock Feathers. Tot slot nog een schaduwrandje met potlood rond de flessen en potjes toegevoegd.

First I stamped the images with Stazon Teal blue, put on the bistre, added water with a mini mister and coloured the (dried!) images with distress ink Peacock Feathers. With brown pencils I added some shadows around the bottles.

Door eerst te stempelen en daarna bister te strooien kon ik de afbeeldingen vrij laten van bister.

By stamping first and putting the bistre on later I was able to leave the images free of bistre.

Art Jourey Challenge #51: Fantasy

Ik maakte deze kaart met slechts twee stempels:
I made this card with only two stamps:

Het meisje met de bloem bestaat uit twee aparte stempels, maar is op één stuk papier gestempeld en uitgeknipt. Hieronder zie je stap voor stap hoe ik dat heb gedaan.

The girl with the flower has been constructed from two different stamps, but has been stamped on one piece of paper. Below you can see how I did this.

Ik beïnkte de stempel, maar zo weinig mogelijk de paraplu.
I inked up the stamp, but put as little as possible on the umbrella.

Ik stempelde het meisje nog eens op maskeerpapier en knipte haar uit, precies rond haar hand, zonder paraplu en plakte dat op mijn zwarte afbeelding
I stamped the girl again onto masking paper, fussy cut her and her hand without the umbrella and stuck that on the black stamped image.

Ik gebruikte mijn stempellineaal om de bloem in de juiste positie te stempelen en knipte het geheel uit.

I used my stamp positioner to stamp the flower exactly the way I wanted and cut it all out.

De kleuren die ik gebruikte zijn Squeezed Lemonade en Seedless Preserves distress inkt.
The colours I used are Squeezed Lemonade and Seedles Preserves distress ink.
