The new Art Jorney challenge has started on the 1. of this month and Myra chose this month's theme: Blue and white. The first entries have already been made and linked to our designteam blog. It is nice to see how different they are. We love to see them coming!
Mijn bijdrage voor de challenge is technisch gezien erg simpel. Ik had niet zoveel materiaal tot mijn beschikking omdat ik met de caravan in Engeland op vakantie was. Ik moest dus van tevoren stempels en materiaal kiezen wat ik mee zou nemen. Ik nam mee: Chess, Dragonfly en Image & Inspire stempels, Stazon Midnight blue, Salty Ocean en Faded Jeans distress inkt en een paar TCW stencils.
My tag for this challenge is technically spoken very simple. I did not have a lot of materials on hand when making this tag, as I was on holiday in Engeland. I had to choose my stamps and materials before I left home and this is what I took with me: Chess, Dragonfly and Image & Inspire stamps, Stazon Midnight blue, Salty Ocean en Faded Jeans distress ink and a few TCW stencils.

De libelle heb ik uitgeknipt en alleen op de pootjes vastgeplakt. Hiervoor heb ik de pootjes verstevigd door ze in te lijmen en dat eerst goed in vorm te laten drogen. daarna kon ik de pootjes vastplakken. Hieronder kun je zien hoe hij "geland" is op de tag.
The dragonfly was cut out and I glued only the legs to the card. I had to make the legs sturdier to make the little animal stand on its legs. I put glue on the legs and let it dry in the right posisition. After that I coud glue the legs to the tag.Below you can see how it has "landed" on the tag.

Nou ondanks dat je weinig materiaal tot je beschikking had is het resultaat toch prachtig! Wat een leuk detail dat je de libelle op je tag hebt laten 'landen' :)

Het resultaat en stempelcombi is heel leuk geworden.
Heel mooi resultaat Ellen, en inderdaad knap gedaan om alles van te voren uit te zoeken. Mag dan wel simpel zijn zoals je zelf zegt, het resultaat is top!!
