Art Journey, new stamps!

Afgelopen weekend werden tijdens de Art Journey-dagen weer twee nieuwe stempelsets onthuld. Hieronder twee voorbeelden met de stempelset "Grasses".
Last weekend at the Art Journey-weekend two new stamp sets were released. Below two examples with the new stamp set "Grasses".

Deze tag is gemaakt met boekpapier, tissuepapier en inka-gold als basis. Op deze manier ontstond een interessante onderwaterwereld. De grassen werden met Stazon Black en Olive green gestempeld.
This tag is made with a base from book papier, tissue paper and inka-gold. This way I created an interesting tactile under water world. I stamped the grasses with Stazon Black and Olive green.

Een ketting hanger, afgewerkt met embossingpoeder.
A pendant, finished with embossingpowder.

New Art Journey stamps, a sneak peek

Tijdens de Art Journey-dagen, die vanaf morgen drie dagen worden gehouden, komt Art Journey natuurlijk met nieuwe stempels. Het designteam mocht al met de nieuwe stempels aan de slag. Hieronder zie je een sneak peek van wat ik met de stempels maakte.

At the Art Journey days, to be held three days, starting tomorrow, Art Journey releases two new stamp sets. The design team had a chance to play with them already. Below a sneak peek from the things I made with the new sets.

AJC #45: Tag on a card

Corine bedacht de leuke nieuwe Art Journey Challenge: Tag on a card, een label op een kaart. Ik maakte onderstaande kaarten met een kleine tag.
Corine announced this nice new Art Journey Challenge: Tag on a card. I made these cards with small tags.

Op deze stoere kaart heb ik de nieuwe Art Journey achtergrondstempels in verschillende kleuren afgedrukt, over een strookje rode gelliprint. De veiligheidsspeld heb ik met glossy accents lijm op de kaart geplakt.
On this card I stamped the new Art Journey background stamps with various colours over a strip of red gelli print. I glued the safety pin with glossy accents.

Another envelope

Nog iets meer dan een week, dan zit de april-uitdaging van Art Journey er al weer op. Ik maakte nog onderstaande envelop, passend bij het kaartje, dat ik eerder al maakte.

Art Journey, new stamps # 3

Ik laat graag nog een kaartje en een atc zien met de nieuwe stempels van Art Journey, deze keer een paar achtergrond-stempels: Circles Background, Newspaper and Fabric, Scratches and Diamonds.
I would like to show a card and an atc card with the new stamps from Art Journey, this time some new background stamps: Circles Background, Newspaper and Fabric, Scratches and Diamonds.

Deze kaart begon met een blauwe gelli print uit mijn voorraad. De nieuwe stempels die ik gebruikte zijn: Circles Background en Newspaper and Fabric. Overige stempels zijn Steampunk 2 en Words.
This card started with a gelli print from my stash. The new stamps I used are Circles Background and Newspaper and Fabric. The other stamps are Steampunk 2 and Words.

De atc is gemaakt met dezelfde achtergrond-stempel. Door andere kleuren krijgt hij een heel andere uitstraling. Hij is zo veelzijdig!
This atc card is made with the same background stamp. By changing the colours it looks very different. It is so versatile!

Ik drukte drie kleuren distress inkt op mijn craftsheet, miste met water en gebruikte dit mengsel als "stempelkussen" voor de Circles Background. Ik gebruikte ook de Diamonds van Scratches and Diamonds en Inchies, een oudere stempelset.

I pressed three colours of distress ink on my craft sheet, misted with water and used this as an "inkpad"  for the Circles Background. I also stamped with the Diamonds from the Scatches and Diamonds and Inchies, an older stamp set.

Distress ink: Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, Wild Honey.

Art Journey, new stamps # 2

Hieronder wat kaartjes die ik maakte met de nieuwe Art Journey stempels:
Below some cards I made with the new Art Journey stamps:

Voor de kaart hierboven gebruikte ik een diaraampje als mal. Ik plakte een stukje mica achter het raampje.  De stempelsets zijn: Insects, Branches, Roses, Text, Nature, Clocks. Fairytail.
For the card above I used a slide frame as a template. I glued a piece of mica behind the frame. The stamps are: Insects, Branches, Roses, Text, Nature, Clocks, Fairytail.

Ik ben verliefd op dat lieveheersbeestje! En er is een kleine versie van, bij de minstempeltjes, verkrijgbaar in de winkel. Stempels: Insects, Dutch text 1, ministempel lieveheersbeestje.
I am in love with the ladybird! And there is a small version of it too, only for sale at the shop in Sleen. Stamps: Insects, Dutch text 1, mini stamp ladybird.

Art Journey, new stamps # 1

Op de Art Specially beurs afgelopen weekend zijn veel nieuwe Art Journey stempels uitgekomen. Op de kaart hieronder gebruikte ik de stempel sheet "Eyes" en een TCW template (Mini Well Rounded). De kleuren zijn Salty Ocean en Mowed Lawn distress inkt. Ik gebruikt de tweede, dus lichtere, afdruk om de achtergrond te stempelen.

At the Art Specially stamp show last weekend a lot of new Art Journey sheets were released. On the card above I used the "Eyes" stamp sheet and a TCW template (Mini Well Rounded). The colours are Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn distress ink. I used the second, and therefore lighter, impression to stamp the background.

Voor onderstaande atc gebruikte ik "Eyes" en "Baroque Swirl", de kleuren zijn Pumpkin en Cherry Pink van Stazon. De achtergrond maakte ik door de twee kleuren op mijn craftsheet te drukken, te verdunnen met alcohol en het kaartje er door te slepen. Misschien kan deze atc nog wat accentjes gebruiken. Ik denk dat ik er nog wat bij stempel en wellicht zie je hem later nog eens, maar dan anders.

On the atc card above I used "Eyes" and  "Baroque Swirl", the colours are Pumpkin and Cherry Pink by Stazon. I coloured the background by pressing the two colours onto my craft sheet, thinning them with alcohol and sweeping the card through the ink. I think this atc card can use some accents. Perhaps I will add some stamping and show it again later.
